Brussels Sprout Groninger ( Brassica oleracea ) is a variety that was developed in the 15th century; in Belgium. The Groninger have good flavour, are a quick & heavy producer and are easy to grow. These mini cabbages are famous for being avoided on the dinner plate, sadly this is often due to overcooking which gives them a bitter taste. When cooked correctly these little beauties are quite delicious.

Suitable for Cold to Tropical climates; although they may not grow as well in tropical regions.
